The gloriously nerdy Max Tundra makes bizarre electronic music that could be termed (IMHO) post-pop or something like that... It's glitchy, composed (this album at least) on a Commodore Amiga 500, which was considered 'low-end' when it was built in 1987, and prefixmag describes it as "the soundtrack to an '80s brat-pack movie gone horribly wrong". Here's one of his jams, an ode to deceptive internet relationships:
Despite the video, all this weird is indeed the brainchild and output of one man, Londoner Ben Jacobs. Catch him on tour with Junior Boys when they come through this area in early May.
